| Understanding Infra Language One Page of Instant Knowledge Infra Language is the foundation of all language. But, it is more than that. Infra Language is the basic structure that underpins everything we think, say and do. Infra Language is simple to learn but gives you astonishing power to understand the way people live. Let's start with you. 1. You receive information through your senses. You see, hear, touch, taste or smell something. 2. Then, you sort, measure and assess that information, so you can draw a conclusion. You gauge the characteristics of the sensory information. 3. Next, you judge your conclusion against your knowledge. You have sensed something with those characteristics before. You make a judgement about what it is from your previous experience. 4. Then, you react emotionally to what you have sensed, assessed and judged. The information may be good or bad, scary or comforting. Your emotions summarise your judgement. You may express your emotions or keep them under your hat. 5. And, finally, you do something. Usually, that's physical like walk, talk, ride or slide. But, it can also include stopping yourself doing something or telling someone else what to do. You use that five-step sequence a million times a day. Often, you do it so fast you barely notice it. Then, something special becomes clear.  When you become clever at using one of those steps, you start to use it more than the others. So, if you are clever at the second step, you become easy to pick. Your face and voice becomes less emotional. You focus on facts and figures, contrasts and comparisons. |
Maybe you become clever at using the last step in the sequence. Again, your style is easily named. You focus on action and reject 'too much' thinking. You express yourself with gestures, postures and movement. But, your emotions are not so strong. Alternatively, you sit still and tell everyone what to do. If you are good at the last step, you know that action makes a difference. And, you are right, at least from your perspective.  This is just the start of understanding Infra Language. It provides deeper insights and more powerful influence than highlighting simple 'personality types'. But, there is one thing you must know.
